Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead new business pursuits, manage price strategy, and direct cross-functional pursuit teams across the sales cycle. The role emphasizes new contracts, team selling, and solution selling with a defined sales quota.

The candidate will coordinate deal strategy, pricing, and messaging while exploring cross-sell opportunities and ensuring smooth transition of accounts post-close. Extensive travel is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field.
• MBA preferred business administration (MBA).
• Five (5) years or more sales experience: 3 years at quota and 2 years at 75% of quota required.
• Five (5) years or more in selling supply chain solutions and/or achieve quota attainment more than 3 times within a 60-month period.
• Understanding of services, costs, pricing and value—expert required.
• Noncommercial Driver License CLASS E.

Mansioni

• Lead deal pursuit including deal creation and pricing strategy; plan the attack and pipeline.
• Prospect new brands and develop industry network to build pipeline.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals; provide continued commercial support on closed accounts.
• Transition accounts after milestones; coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams.
• Adhere to company policies and travel/expense policies; perform other duties as assigned.
