GRAEF, a leading transportation engineering firm, seeks a Director of Transportation Engineering to provide firmwide leadership for the Transportation Engineering Technical Community. Reporting to the CTO, the role drives technical excellence, quality assurance, cross-office collaboration, and leadership development across projects and client pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or eligible.
• Minimum of 12 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Demonstrated technical and leadership experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and implementation of firmwide technical standards, best practices, quality processes, and resources for high-quality project delivery.
• Promote collaboration and work-sharing across offices to connect projects with the right expertise.
• Support onboarding, mentoring, technical training, and succession planning within the Transportation Engineering Technical Community.
• Partner with firm leadership on technical strategy, innovation, recruiting, business planning, and client relationships.
• Remain actively engaged in project work through leadership, design, and technical oversight while guiding teams to improve delivery and manage risk.
