GRAEF is seeking a Director of Transportation Engineering to provide firmwide leadership for the Transportation Engineering Technical Community. The role reports to the Chief Technical Officer and focuses on advancing technical excellence, quality, collaboration, and staff development across offices.

Responsibilities include developing standards, mentoring staff, guiding strategy, and maintaining engagement in projects.

Qualifications

• Requires PE license and Civil Engineering degree.
• Minimum 12 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of firmwide transportation standards and quality processes.
• Foster collaboration across offices and connect projects with the right expertise.
• Develop people and future leaders within the transportation community.
• Shape technical strategy and support business development and client relationships.
• Remain engaged in project work through leadership, design and technical oversight.
