GRAEF is seeking a Director of Transportation Engineering to provide firmwide leadership for one of our largest technical communities. You will oversee technical standards, promote collaboration across offices, and mentor the next generation of leaders while staying engaged in project work.

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will shape technology strategy, support client relationships, and guide investment in emerging capabilities that strengthen GRAEF's transportation practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 12 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills.
• Commitment to technical excellence and staff development.

Responsabilités

• Lead firmwide technical standards, best practices, quality processes, and resources for consistent project delivery across GRAEF's Transportation Engineering Technical Community.
• Promote collaboration across offices and connect projects with the right expertise.
• Develop onboarding, mentoring, and succession planning within the transportation community.
• Shape technical strategy, innovation, recruiting, business planning, and client pursuits.
• Remain actively engaged in project leadership, design, and technical oversight to manage risk.
