Vigor Marine Group in Seattle, WA, seeks a Director of Transformation Strategy and Analytics to lead the analytics backbone for the TOE Office, acting as the COO of Transformation and ensuring quantified business cases with ROI targets.

This strategic leadership role partners with Operations, Finance and IT to drive data-driven improvement across shipyards and business units, with opportunities to expand into broader transformation and operational leadership.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, operations finance, analytics, or operational improvement.
• Strong financial acumen and track record of building credible business cases and delivering measurable value.
• Translate complex operational environments into clear metrics, dashboards, and insights.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and SQL; data quality may vary.
• Able to influence without authority and partner across Operations, Finance, and IT.
• Excellent executive communication skills and structured problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the “COO of Transformation” building business cases, validating ROI, and ensuring benefits are tracked.
• Create the analytics foundation with standardized KPIs, dashboards, and data definitions across shipyards and units.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and IT to design practical data architectures and reporting tools.
• Identify and quantify new performance opportunities through structured analysis.
• Provide decision support to executive leadership and the Transformation Steering Committee.
• Establish portfolio governance with clear ownership, baselines, and measurable results.
• Lead change management for analytics adoption across the organization.
