Job summary

AVIXA, a global nonprofit association for the AV industry, is seeking a Director of Training to lead the Business and Product Portfolio. You will own the day-to-day strategy, roadmap, and performance of AVIXA’s training line, shaping a commercial education product with cross-functional impact and global reach.

The role reports to the VP, Content Creation and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Membership, and others to drive revenue, adoption, and upgrade opportunities while modernizing learning

Qualifications

• Open to diverse backgrounds in education or content as a product.
• Experience with revenue accountability or P&L favored.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and executives.
• Strong executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own training business strategy, roadmap, and portfolio performance.
• Drive revenue, margin, learner adoption, and product lifecycle outcomes.
• Make data-informed decisions on pricing, packaging, localization, and sunsets.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Membership, Customer Service, IT, and Finance.
• Build operating discipline and improve customer feedback loops and metrics.
