Job summary

Branch, a Columbus-based insurance company, is seeking a Director, Territory Management to lead its field sales expansion. You will spend substantial time in-market with territory managers, coaching agency visits, and turning territories into a coordinated go-to-market motion.

You will build and refine a playbook, calibrate agency prioritization, report on territory performance, and partner with Finance, Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and Operations to remove barriers to growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in independent agency distribution or field sales.
• 4+ years managing quota-carrying field teams.
• Experience building and scaling a field team.
• CRM experience (HubSpot) and forecasting.
• P&C insurance knowledge preferred; training provided.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Senior/Territory Managers and own territory strategy.
• Carry production targets across territories and explain variances.
• Calibrate agency prioritization and provide tools for insights.
• Develop playbooks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Aggregate pipeline and report to leadership.
• Engage with top agencies and build strategic relationships.
• Translate field insights into strategic actions.
• Coach and onboard reps, including those without P&C background.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and Ops.
• Drive automation for CRM, quoting workflow, and tools.
