Job summary

Branch is seeking a Director of Territory Management to lead a field-based team responsible for growing quality new business through independent agencies. This leader will manage a national production target and build a scalable in-market organization.

The role involves spending meaningful time in-market with territory managers, coaching during agency visits, and translating territory insights into actionable strategy for Branch. Remote-first with HQ in Columbus and periodic in-person sessions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in independent agency distribution or field sales.
• 4+ years directly managing quota-carrying field team.
• Experience building and scaling a field team with clear performance standards.
• Experience running pipeline and forecast in a CRM (HubSpot or comparable).
• P&C insurance knowledge is preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Senior/Territory Managers with clear territory strategy.
• Own the production target for bound premium and policy count across territories.
• Calibrate agency prioritization and ensure access to tools for production insights.
• Own and improve the playbook and coaching standards for reps.
• Aggregate and report territory performance to leadership.
• Engage priority agencies to drive productive relationships and production.
• Translate field insights into strategy for Branch stakeholders.
