Job summary

Five9 is seeking a Director of Solution Consulting Operations to lead a small, high-impact team at the intersection of Product, Sales, and SC. You will modernize the demo environment, scale self-service capabilities, and embed AI-driven automation to empower sales.

This role blends strategic vision with technical credibility, collaborating with SC leadership, Product, and executives to shape roadmap priorities and drive organizational change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or related pre-sales roles.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience with contact center or similar platforms and familiarity with Five9 or competitors.
• Experience designing or managing demo environments or pre-sales assets.
• Practical knowledge of AI and automation including LLMs, AI assistants, or workflow automation.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate a roadmap to an executive and a system architecture to engineers.
• Strong cross-functional instincts to align Product, Marketing, Enablement, and Sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the next-generation vision for Five9's SC demo environment and self-service capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to prioritize demo investments aligned with roadmap.
• Lead SC readiness for new product launches and build scalable launch playbooks and assets.
• Serve as liaison translating roadmap insights into field-ready collateral for the SC organization.
• Develop self-service tools and knowledge management to reduce friction and automate workflows.
