Job summary

Five9 is seeking a senior leader to own strategy and business operations, reporting to the executive team and partnering across Go-to-Market, Product and Finance. The role demands an operator who can set direction and align functional plans with the corporate strategy while driving AI-enabled workflows and governance.

You will partner with CEO, CFO, CPO, CSO, and other senior leaders to shape the integrated plan, balance growth with profitability, and lead the annual budgeting and investment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined experience in strategy, ops, or corporate development at a tech company.
• Experience leading a strategy/operations function with CEO, CFO, and Board exposure.
• Strong financial fluency: long-range planning and scenario modeling.
• Hands-on with AI tools and production-grade workflows.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and financial ambition for the company.
• Maintain one integrated plan and ensure interlock with FP&A.
• Build costed, return-ranked portfolio aligned with strategy.
• Translate geography/product mix into bookings targets and market view.
• Define and standardize quarterly and monthly leadership forums.
• Run the strategy function as an AI-native operation with durable data pipelines.
