Navitus Health Solutions seeks a Director of Software Development to lead and evolve our software teams, delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions. The role emphasizes Agile practices, modern architectures, and strategic technology direction to ensure on-time, within-budget outcomes.

You will mentor managers, drive performance metrics, and collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional leaders to align software delivery with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT management experience leading software development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with modern technologies, architectures and agile development methods.
• Cloud-first development and microservice architectures experience.
• Experience using AI tools to improve delivery of software.
• Proficiency with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React, etc.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Experience implementing agile methodologies.
• Experience building automation testing frameworks and performance testing.
• Ability to support compliance program objectives and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute with a focus on results, accountability, and delivery.
• Lead and mentor managers responsible for software development and hiring.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and leaders from Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and PPMO.
• Build relationships with application owners to deliver software that meets needs.
• Develop and maintain an accountable department delivering high-quality code.
• Stay current with modern software development technologies, including AI, to evolve strategy.
• Define and track KPIs and metrics to manage performance.
• Communicate progress and status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
