Navitus Health Solutions seeks a Director of Software Development to lead and evolve our software teams. You will drive modern, scalable solutions, align development with business goals, and mentor managers to deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes Agile practices, collaboration with Product Owners, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related technical field; or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of IT Management experience including direct software development leadership.
• Experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development methods.
• Experience with cloud-first development and microservice architectures.
• Experience using AI tools to improve development efficiency and accuracy.
• Experience with .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React, etc.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Experience managing agile methodologies.
• Experience building automation testing frameworks and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development and deliver quality results for the organization.
• Provide leadership and direction for the development team.
• Evolve legacy applications into modern, supportable ones.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and leaders across Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and PMO.
• Develop and maintain an accountable department delivering high-quality code.
• Stay current with modern software development technologies, including AI.
• Establish KPI's and metrics for performance and reporting.
• Communicate progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
