Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director of Software Development to lead our software teams, modernize legacy systems, and drive high-quality delivery across the organization. You will guide Agile practices, collaborate with product and enterprise teams, and focus on customer-centric outcomes.

The role emphasizes scalable architecture, AI-enabled delivery, and leadership of multiple development managers to achieve on-time, on-budget results in a dynamic health solutions environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• 10+ years of IT management experience leading software development teams.
• Experience with modern technologies, architectures, and agile development methods.
• Cloud-first development and microservice architectures experience.
• Experience using AI tools to improve delivery accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiency with .NET, SQL, Angular, React, and Oracle.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and performance testing.
• Experience delivering quality software using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for software development teams and drive quality outcomes.
• Lead modernization of legacy applications into scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile Delivery, Enterprise Architecture, and PMO.
• Mentor managers and developers; foster accountability and strong performance.
• Develop and communicate a clear software development strategy and KPIs.
• Ensure delivery on time and within budget while aligning with business needs.
