Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of Cribl's security portfolio. You will evaluate promising areas beyond Cribl Detect, recommend priorities, and lead funded initiatives from first customer conversations to launch and growth.

The role requires a strong security depth, 10+ years in product management, and 5+ years building security products. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and engineering, and lead PMs to scale the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or related role, 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations: SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in security areas (SOAR, ITDR, UEBA, AI/security).
• Track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 with customer value in mind.
• Portfolio-level thinking and ability to advise on markets, business cases, and options.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive strategy for next wave of security products: market analysis, discovery, and roadmaps.
• Build business cases with customers, market size, and build/partner/buy options.
• Lead execution from product definition to requirements and success metrics with eng.
• Ensure new capabilities work within Cribl Detect with shared data model and workflows.
• Engage with customers (CISOs, SOC managers) to validate direction before commit.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning and launches.
• Grow the team by hiring PMs as areas get funded and lead them.
• Represent Cribl security externally at events and with customers.
