Job summary

Cribl is hiring a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of Cribl Detect and the security portfolio. You’ll determine which areas to pursue, build business cases, and lead funded initiatives from early conversations to launch.

The role demands deep security ops knowledge, strategic thinking, and PM leadership. You’ll drive cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales, mentor PMs, and align product strategy with market needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or closely related role, with 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations - SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in security domains such as SOAR, ITDR/UEBA, or threat detection.
• Track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 with clear market rationale.
• Portfolio thinking with business cases and recommendations under uncertainty.
• Leadership experience mentoring PMs and coordinating across engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Technical depth to discuss data architectures, detection logic, and AI/LLM systems.
• Strong written strategy docs and PRDs.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for next security product wave including market analysis and customer discovery.
• Build business cases with customer problems, market size, and go-to-market options.
• Lead execution from product definition to delivery with engineering from 0 to 1 and beyond.
• Ensure Cribl Detect capabilities work as a unified platform with other tools.
• Engage with CISOs, SOC managers, and analysts to validate direction with customers.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning and launches.
• Grow and mentor product managers as areas receive funding.
• Represent Cribl security externally at events and with customers.
