Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of security offerings. You will evaluate areas beyond Cribl Detect, build business cases, and decide whether to build, partner, or buy.

You’ll lead funding, customer conversations, and launch plans, owning strategy and execution from 0 to 1 and beyond. You’ll guide cross‑functional teams, partner with Marketing/Sales, and grow the PM function.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or closely related role.
• 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations (SIEM, detection, incident response).
• Hands-on product experience in security areas like SOAR or Identity security.
• Track record from 0 to 1: problem discovery to paid product.
• Portfolio-thinking with market evaluation and clear recommendations.
• Leadership across engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Strong written strategy docs and PRDs.
• Good judgment under uncertainty.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for next wave of Cribl security products.
• Build business cases: customer problem, market size, and win strategy.
• Lead product definition, requirements, and success metrics.
• Ensure new capabilities work with Cribl Detect on a single platform.
• Spend time with customers and validate directions with partners.
• Collaborate on positioning, packaging, and field enablement.
• Grow the PM team as areas are funded.
• Represent Cribl security externally at events.
