Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to own the next wave of Cribl's security portfolio. You'll evaluate promising areas beyond Cribl Detect and decide which to pursue, with a clear case for build, partner, or buy, then lead what we fund from first customer conversations to launch and growth.

This role is for a product leader who wants to shape a portfolio, not inherit one, with the security depth to guide decisions and drive execution across engineering,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or a closely related role, with 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations - SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in security automation/response, identity security, AI, or threat detection.
• Track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 with clear customer value and revenue.
• Portfolio-level thinking with market evaluations and business-case recommendations.
• Leadership experience mentoring PMs and working across engineering, marketing and sales.
• Technical depth to engage with engineers on data architectures and AI/LLM-based systems.
• Strong written communication and the ability to document strategy and PRDs.
• Good judgment under uncertainty; confident in what not to build as well as what to build.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for the next wave of security products with market analysis and customer discovery.
• Build business cases for each area, including market size and competitive landscape.
• Lead execution by defining products, writing requirements, and setting success metrics.
• Ensure new capabilities work natively with Cribl Detect and shared data models.
• Spend time with CISOs and SOC teams to validate direction before committing.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning and launches.
• Grow the team by hiring and mentoring product managers.
• Represent Cribl security externally with customers, analysts, and events.
