Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director to own the enterprise Salesforce platform, setting vision, governance, and investment priorities for Salesforce across FMS, SCS, and RLM.

The role leads a cross-functional CoE, drives platform health, and partners with business leaders to deliver reliable, secure, and valuable Salesforce capabilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing business applications.
• 10+ years in leadership of Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex, multi-business-unit environment.
• 7+ years leading managers and/or senior professionals and influencing cross-functional teams; establishing Salesforce CoE and governance.
• 5+ years leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization or consolidation, including business-process, data, integration, security, and change impacts.

Responsibilities

• Define Salesforce vision, governance, and multi-year roadmaps aligned to sales, service, data, and digital strategies.
• Chair and mature the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) as a cross-functional operating model.
• Ensure platform health, security, reliability, and risk management across Salesforce instances.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and translate prioritizations into enterprise choices across functions.
• Create guardrails for configuration, development, integration, data, identity, and security; promote self-service and innovation.
• Oversee reference architectures, integration patterns, and data governance with enterprise architects and data leaders.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and financial planning; communicate cost vs. value of platform decisions.
• Travel 10-20% as needed.
