Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, setting vision, governance, and investment priorities across FMS, SCS, and RLM. The leader directs platform health, security, and data integrity while guiding talent and cross-functional teams.

This executive partners with Salesforce, chairs the Salesforce CoE, and establishes governance to enable safe innovation and measurable business value across Ryder’s sales and service domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing applications.
• 10+ years in leadership of Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex, multi-business-unit environment.
• 7+ years in leading managers/senior professionals and establishing or maturing a Salesforce CoE, platform operating model, governance, and portfolio-management capability.

Responsibilities

• Define Salesforce strategy, governance, multi-year roadmap, and investment plan aligned to Ryder’s sales, service, data, and digital strategies; chair the Salesforce CoE.
• Maintain platform health, security, reliability, and operational risk; embed governance and privacy controls in platform operations.
• Build durable relationships with cross-functional leaders and translate competing priorities into enterprise choices.
• Establish and champion Salesforce best practices, design principles, and configuration/coding standards; provide guidance without owning delivery.
