Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Director of Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce ecosystem, setting the vision, governance, and investment priorities.

This leader will drive platform health, security, and data integrity while coordinating cross-functional teams across Sales, Service, and Data, and will serve as Ryder’s Salesforce relationship owner. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership for enterprise platforms or customer-facing apps.
• 10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM in a large, complex environment.
• 5+ years leading Salesforce org rationalization/consolidation including data, security, and change impacts.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern a multi-year Salesforce vision, target-state architecture, org strategy, and investment plan across Sales, Service, Data, and Digital.
• Chair the Salesforce CoE and establish a cross-functional operating model with defined roles, governance, and success metrics.
• Maintain platform health, security, reliability, and regulatory controls across all Salesforce instances.
• Lead enterprise stakeholder relationships and translate competing priorities into enterprise choices.
• Set pragmatic guardrails for configuration, development, integration, data, security, DevSecOps, and deployment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring while ensuring solutions adhere to enterprise standards.
