Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director of the Salesforce Platform to lead enterprise-wide Salesforce strategy, governance, and CoE operations.

You will own the vision, investment priorities, and guardrails, coordinating across Sales, Service, and Data domains to maximize value while safeguarding enterprise standards. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Product teams, steering platform health, risk management, and lifecycle planning; champion best practices and scalable

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IS/CS/Engineering/Business or related field.
10+ years in progressive technology leadership for enterprise platforms.
10+ years leading Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex environment.
5+ years leading Salesforce org rationalization or consolidation.
5+ years in executive stakeholder management, vendor/commercial negotiations, financial planning, and business-case realization.
Salesforce multi-org strategy, platform architecture, and integration patterns.
Salesforce Admin/Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder certification preferred.
ITIL or related governance certifications preferred; visa sponsorship not required in US.

Responsibilities

Define Salesforce vision, governance, and CoE; chair cross-functional operating model.
Maintain platform health, security, and risk; ensure auditability and DR readiness.
Lead stakeholder relationships across Sales Ops, Service, Product, Security, and EA teams.
Set technical standards, architecture oversight, and solution quality; guide reviews.
Create guardrails for configuration, dev, integration, data, and security; enable self-service.
Provide expert guidance while ensuring enterprise standards and governance.
Lead platform rationalization and lifecycle management; develop transition roadmaps.
Manage vendor relations, licensing, and financial planning for Salesforce.
