Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools is seeking a Director of Operations Support & Assets to serve as the executive authority for network-wide asset management, inventory controls, and campus readiness.

You will lead a four-person team across four cities, partnering with Finance, IT, Talent, and Academics to design scalable systems that reduce downtime and improve staff experience. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with travel to 40+ sites and a focus on ROI-driven asset lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of asset management, operations, or supply chain experience in a large multi-site system.
• At least 3 years of direct people management in distributed teams.
• Proven ability to design SOPs, governance, and change management.
• Strong data storytelling to justify resource allocation.
• Comfort navigating internal politics and senior stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead network-wide asset strategy and standards.
• Define staff workroom logistics, budgets, and central office support hours.
• Socialize updates and ensure staff understand resource allocations.
• Lead training for asset leads across campuses.
• Set service delivery standards and SLAs for non-tech assets.
• Oversee end-to-end school uniform procurement and ID systems.
• Manage non-tech supply chains and central office logistics.
• Oversee asset lifecycle and inventory forecasting across 40+ sites.
