Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma seeks a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Central for a remote, field-based role spanning OH, MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, KS, NE, ND, and SD. Lead payer access strategy, manage key regional payers and IDNs, and drive formulary and policy execution across the Central portfolio.

The role requires 10+ years in biotech/pharma with 5+ years in regional payer account management, deep payer knowledge, and strong data presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience, including at least five years in regional payer account management.
• Solid understanding of the Payer sector, including knowledge of Medical/Pharmacy Benefit Designs, current legislation, and Medicaid (Managed/FFS).
• Ability to understand and present complex clinical data for approved indications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with regional payers and IDNs across the Central portfolio.
• Own account strategy for major payers and coordinate affiliate/state-level execution with other regional directors.
• Develop and execute account-specific business plans to support rapid and durable access for approved products.
• Profile formulary and policy review processes; coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver value stories and resolve access issues.
• Communicate payer policy changes to field teams and stay informed on state Medicaid dynamics.
