Job summary

BridgeBio Pharma is seeking a Director, Managed Markets - Regional - Central to lead access strategy and payer relationships across the Central US. This remote, field-based role covers Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

You will drive launch readiness, formulary reviews, and resolve access barriers in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years biotech/pharmaceutical experience with at least 5 years in regional payer account management
• Solid understanding of the payer sector including Medical/ Pharmacy Benefit Designs and Medicaid (Managed/FFS)
• Travel readiness: 50–60% travel

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships across regional payers, Medicaid programs, and IDNs in the Central territory
• Own enterprise account strategy and coordinate execution with affiliate teams and regional directors
• Develop and execute account plans for Blue plans, regional payers, Medicaid-focused organizations, and provider-sponsored plans
• Profile formulary and policy review processes, understand utilization management, decision makers, and geographic reach; coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver value stories
• Communicate payer policy changes to field teams and maintain up-to-date knowledge of state Medicaid policy and regional dynamics
