Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals seeks a Director, Business Strategy & Operations (BSO) for PPM & Data Science to act as strategic partner and Chief of Staff to the Heads of PPM and EDGE.

You will shape the executive rhythm, drive multi-year workforce planning, and oversee financial stewardship, communications, and cross-functional transformations that accelerate pipeline delivery and AI innovation.

Qualifications

• Extensive progressive experience in biopharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Strategic business operations leadership partnering with executive leaders (VP/SVP).
• Experience leading workforce planning, capacity modeling, and timecard compliance.
• Demonstrated budget management, financial forecasting, and variance tracking.
• Involvement in business development due diligence, post-deal integrations, or external platforms.
• Executive presence and strategic partnership across diverse technical and operational disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to Heads of PPM and Data Science and lead executive cadence.
• Lead multi-year workforce planning and resource modeling across PPM and Data Science.
• Oversee monthly accruals, forecasts, and annual budget builds in partnership with Finance.
• Lead due diligence and functional integration activities for BD, licensing, or M&A.
• Set annual and long-term OKRs/KPIs and track performance with dashboards.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications and organizational culture initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and digital/AI-enabled operating models across global teams.
