Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Director, Business Strategy & Operations for the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO).

This role partners with the Head of GCDO to align strategy, governance, and resourcing across the global clinical development pipeline. You will lead workforce planning, data stewardship for capacity models, and budget cadence, while steering due diligence in business development and post-deal integrations.

Qualifications

• Extensive biopharma or life sciences experience in strategy/ops.
• Experience partnering with executive leaders (VP/SVP level).
• Proven ability to manage workforce planning, capacity modeling, and timecard oversight.
• Strong financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.
• Experience in BD due diligence and post-deal integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to the Head of GCDO and LT.
• Lead the operational rhythm and governance across GCDO.
• Coordinate multi-year workforce planning and budget cycles.
• Direct BD due diligence, vendor integrations, and post-deal alignment.
• Set annual goals/OKRs and implement process improvements.
• Drive communications and organizational culture aligned with data science and AI initiatives.
