Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director, Business Strategy & Operations for Discovery & Research to partner with the CSOs in Neuroscience and Oncology. In this high-impact role, you will orchestrate strategic planning, leadership cadence, workforce planning, and the functional budget across early discovery.

You will prepare executive materials for governance forums, collaborate with HR and Finance, and drive data-driven decision making while supporting due diligence and post-deal

Qualifications

• Extensive biotech/pharma ops experience.
• Experience partnering with CSOs or senior leaders.
• Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or PMO experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect the executive operating rhythm across Neuroscience and Oncology.
• Lead workforce planning and budget stewardship for Discovery & Research.
• Prepare executive briefing decks for governance forums (QBRs, board meetings).
• Drive financial forecasting, accruals, and variance analyses for the function.
• Collaborate with HR, Resource Management, and Finance to align on resources and data stewardship.
• Oversee post-deal integrations and due diligence for new partnerships.
