Job summary

Motive is looking for a Director of Product Strategy, Monetization & Operations to own the commercial and financial engine of our R&D. You will lead revenue, pricing, packaging, margin and cost‑reduction efforts across Product and Engineering and align near‑term revenue strategy with long‑term product and company goals.

You will report to the Sr. Director, build your own team, and collaborate daily with senior leaders across the company to turn data into decisions and drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in management consulting or investment banking.
• 5+ years in business operations or corporate strategy.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, with the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations for executives.
• Track record of driving revenue, margin, or cost improvements.
• Proven success partnering and influencing across functions and levels without direct authority.
• Experience hiring, developing, and leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue expansion strategy and pricing governance from analysis through launch.
• Define cost of R&D spend across devices, IoT, and software services with margin data.
• Partner with product lines to deliver revenue generation and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Size new product lines and run proofs of concept for market readiness.
• Shape multi-year product and company strategy based on market and customer insights.
• Run the operating cadence for R&D strategy with planning and reviews.
• Hire, build, and lead a team of strategy and operations professionals.
