Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director of Monetization Strategy to shape long-term pricing and packaging for our flexible pricing models. You will partner with product leadership to align monetization with the roadmap and drive growth by testing new commercial models.

You will communicate insights to executives, influence strategic decisions, and may lead a team of pricing strategists while maintaining strong relationships across the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of pricing/monetization related experience.
• Ability to frame ambiguous problems and guide executive decisions.
• Strong analytical and data-driven insights with large datasets.
• Experience collaborating with product, marketing and finance leadership.
• Willingness to travel to San Francisco up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize products and features for pricing and packaging.
• Partner with product, marketing, finance to craft new monetization models and define strategies for offerings.
• Use multi-point market inputs to design revenue maximizing strategies.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative pricing research to test hypotheses.
• Analyze product usage patterns to inform pricing decisions.
• Conduct market research on competitors in relevant markets.
• Develop and communicate recommendations; align with senior executives.
• Maintain executive relationships at Salesforce.
• Potentially lead a pricing strategy team.
