Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal invites a senior Director to lead Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) CFO Services and Finance Transformation engagements across portfolio companies. You will guide teams, shape operating models, and drive cost reduction, process improvement, and technology enablement.

The role requires 9–11+ years in consulting or industry, deep finance process knowledge, and strong client leadership. Travel up to 80% is expected as part of client engagements across the US.

Qualifications

• 9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A) and automation.
• Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, and executive-level presentations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focusing on improving finance function performance and cost optimization.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models and organizational structures.
• Lead initiatives involving process optimization, automation, digitization, and management reporting enhancements.
• Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, timelines, and team coordination.
