Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Director for Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) CFO Services to lead Finance Transformation engagements and drive operating model improvements. You will work with CFOs and finance leadership to optimize processes, apply automation, and deliver sustainable financial performance improvements.

You will guide engagement teams, develop capabilities, and nurture client relationships while traveling up to 80% as needed.

Qualifications

9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant Finance Transformation
Strong understanding of core finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A) and automation
Experience building financial analyses, business cases, and executive-level presentations

Responsibilities

Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance and reducing costs
Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities
Design and implement future-state finance operating models and organizational structures
Lead initiatives in finance process optimization, automation, digitization, and management reporting
Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans
Manage engagement execution, quality, timelines, and team coordination
Develop client deliverables and align with senior stakeholders
