Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice seeks a Director with deep Finance Transformation expertise to lead complex engagements for portfolio companies and drive improvements in operating models, close processes, and planning.

You will collaborate with CFOs and finance teams, develop roadmaps, and mentor project teams while expanding client relationships and contributing to practice development. Travel up to 80% may be required.

Qualifications

• 9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A) and automation.
• Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
• Ability to lead project teams, manage multiple workstreams, and communicate to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams to improve finance function performance and drive operational efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations and operating models to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models and organizational structures.
• Develop roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans for transformation.
• Lead GBS/Shared Services and BPO initiatives including design and optimization.
• Mentor teams and contribute to practice development and client relationships.
