Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director for Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) CFO Services/Finance Transformation. You will lead complex engagements, shape finance operating models, and drive cost optimization for portfolio companies.

Expect travel up to 80% and close collaboration with CFOs and senior leaders across client organizations. You will mentor teams, advance methodologies, and contribute to firm growth with governance and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including Finance Transformation.
• Excellent ability to develop financial analyses, business cases, roadmaps, and executive presentations.
• Strong understanding of finance systems, automation technologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams to improve finance performance and drive efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models for improvements.
• Design future-state operating models, structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives on finance process optimization, automation, and management reporting enhancement.
• Develop actionable roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans for clients.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverables quality, timelines, and team coordination.
