Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director for Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) CFO Services to lead complex Finance Transformation engagements. You will guide client CFOs, shape operating models, and drive efficiency across portfolios, with a focus on value creation and sustainable improvements.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, develop roadmaps, and coach teams while advancing our PEPI capabilities across practice areas in the US.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of consulting and/or industry experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of core finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A).
• Experience leading engagements and presenting to executives.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.],

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance, reducing costs, enhancing service delivery, and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess current‑state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future‑state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, financial close improvement, and management reporting enhancement.
• Develop actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, financial analyses, and implementation plans.
• Lead GBS, Shared Services, and BPO initiatives, including feasibility assessments, operating model design, implementation, and optimization.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables and drive adoption of recommended solutions.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, and project timelines.
