Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) CFO Services practice is seeking a Director with deep Finance Transformation expertise to lead complex engagements and help portfolio companies improve financial performance.

You will guide engagement teams, shape transformation roadmaps, and partner with CFOs and senior stakeholders while developing our people and capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of consulting or industry experience, with Finance Transformation focus.
• Strong ability to lead engagements and develop client relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Experience with GBS/Shared Services or CFO advisory is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance, reducing costs, enhancing service delivery, and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, financial close improvement, and management reporting enhancement.
• Develop actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, financial analyses, and implementation plans.
• Lead Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) initiatives, including feasibility assessments, operating model design, implementation, and optimization.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables, facilitate alignment with senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of recommended solutions.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, project timelines, and workstream coordination.
