Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics in Somerville, MA is seeking a Director of Pricing, Payer Contracting & Analytics to lead payer contracts, government pricing, and analytics across the Market Access function.

This role blends strategic contracting with hands-on execution, requiring collaboration with Finance, Legal, and external vendors, and a focus on outcomes-based arrangements for gene therapy programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of pricing, market access and payer contracting experience in pharma/biotech.
• Expertise in coverage and reimbursement; rare disease/gene therapy a plus.
• Proven payer contract portfolio management with compliance and cross-functional support.
• Knowledge of AMP, Best Price, ASP and government price reporting requirements.
• Strong financial modeling, rebate adjudication and pricing analysis skills.
• Experience managing external vendors and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, accountability and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own payer contracts for gene therapy across commercial and government payers.
• Develop contracting strategies and pricing scenarios in response to market changes.
• Oversee compliance, monitor performance, and resolve contract disputes.
• Lead analytics on payer coverage policy and rebate validation.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Field Payer Team, and external partners.
