Job summary

Genetix Biotherapeutics is seeking a National Account Executive to lead payer engagement and access initiatives for our gene therapy portfolio. You will implement strategic plans with payers, contracted centers, and treatment facilities to secure timely reimbursement and optimal patient access.

The role requires deep payer strategy knowledge,Strong collaboration across MAAP, field teams, and clinical stakeholders, and a willingness to travel up to 50% to support regional accounts.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in biotech/pharma market access or related field required; bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Proven success engaging payers, providers, and policy makers across commercial and government segments.
• Strong understanding of US payer landscape including PBMs, Medicare/Medicaid, and value-based agreements.

Responsibilities

• Meet access goals and ensure medical coverage pathways align with FDA-approved prescribing information.
• Lead QTC and payer engagement to remove barriers and streamline patient access.
• Negotiate and implement value-based or alternative payment models with payers.
• Educate and maintain relationships with QTCs, CFOs, revenue cycle, and hospital staff.
• Drive timely access through PA submissions, approvals, and country-wide payer criteria.
• Collaborate across Genetix teams to align market access strategy and treatment pathways.
