Genetix Biotherapeutics is seeking a National Account Executive to lead payer engagement and access initiatives for its gene therapy portfolio. The role focuses on optimizing reimbursement pathways, collaborating with QTCs, and driving strategic payer partnerships across the Northeast.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in biotech/pharma market access, extensive payer knowledge, and a track record of negotiating value-based agreements. Travel ~50% is required in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in biotech/pharma market access or related field.
• Deep understanding of US payer landscape for cell/gene therapies.
• Experience engaging payers, contracting, and treatment centers.

Responsibilities

• Meet access goals and ensure FDA-approved prescribing pathways align with coverage.
• Collaborate with QTCs, Marketing, and Medical Value Liaisons to remove access barriers.
• Develop strategies to support patient access and reimbursement across payer segments.
• Serve as regional point-of-contact for market access issues within QTC network.
• Negotiate and manage value contracts with payers for therapy access.
• Present, negotiate and implement value-based agreements at payer level.
