Job summary

Circet USA is seeking a Director of Preconstruction to lead planning, estimating, and readiness activities for data center network infrastructure projects. You will partner with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Construction to ensure accurate scoping, budgeting, risk assessment, and successful execution.

The role requires leading a team of estimators and BIM specialists, driving constructability reviews, and establishing standards and performance metrics to deliver on-time, within-budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; relevant experience can substitute.
• 10+ years of experience in data center, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or mission-critical construction.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
• Working knowledge of BIM or similar design software.
• Strong knowledge of Accubid or similar estimating software.
• OSHA 30 (can be acquired post-hire if necessary).
• Ability to travel - anticipated travel of 25-50% based on need to include project visits and client facing engagements

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from opportunity through construction handoff.
• Develop and manage project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Drive constructability reviews, value engineering, and risk assessments.
• Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to align solutions with cost and schedule objectives.
• Establish preconstruction standards, processes, and performance metrics.
• Build and lead a high-performing team inclusive of both estimators and BIM lead.
