Ladders is seeking a Director of People Operations and Talent Acquisition to own a global, distributed workforce. The role blends strategic partnership with hands-on execution, supporting organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and full-cycle hiring across regions.

The position is remote, reports to the CEO, and offers compensation from $125,000 to $150,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in People Operations and/or Talent Acquisition
• 2+ years leading both functions at a global startup
• Hands-on technical recruiting experience, including senior and executive hires
• Experience supporting a global, distributed workforce, including US multi-state and UK/EU employment practices
• Proven track record in handling sensitive employee relations and separations with sound judgement
• Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels as an ELT member and hands-on operator
• Proficiency with modern people tools such as ATS, HRIS, and PEO systems

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO and executive leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
• Handle complex employee relations matters across multiple countries
• Own people operations including onboarding, leave administration, and HRIS management
• Run the performance and career framework cycle, including reviews and manager enablement
• Drive engagement and retention through surveys and action planning
• Partner with Finance on compensation benchmarking and headcount planning
• Lead hiring across the company, including executive searches and the recruiting process

For our client, we are seeking a Director, People Operations and Talent Acquisition to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This leader will own the people operations and talent acquisition strategy for a global, distributed workforce. The role blends strategic partnership with hands‑on execution, supporting organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and full‑cycle hiring across the business. You will work closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, and Finance to strengthen the employee experience, enable growth, and ensure scalable people practices across multiple regions.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually
