Walmart is seeking a Director of Expansion to enhance the Shopping Strategy and lead the Shopper - Last Mile Delivery team. This role involves developing strategies for growth, overseeing product roadmaps, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and project management, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and team leadership.
This role of Director, Expansion will play a critical part in the Shopping Strategy, aiming to fulfill customer orders on-time and in-full. The position involves understanding total channel network opportunities—including existing and future store merchandise—and driving overall growth. The role will lead the team to develop a comprehensive technology and product roadmap, oversee testing, deployment, and tracking, and coordinate resources to enhance growth across stores, clubs, shops, and potential partnerships.
The Shopper - Last Mile Delivery team focuses on enhancing the in-store experience for the Spark Shopper network to efficiently meet customer needs, reducing friction and empowering Shoppers to deliver on every order.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $220,000, with potential bonuses and stock options.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field, plus 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area, OR 7 years’ experience in these fields. At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
Optional qualifications include experience working on cross-functional teams or projects, a Master’s in Business Administration, Project Management Professional certification, and project management experience.
