Job summary

SERCO of Texas, Inc. is seeking a Project Director for a full-time, on-site role in Houston, Texas.

You will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of workforce development and human resources projects, ensuring goals, timelines, and budgets are met while coordinating with partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings demonstrated project leadership, experience in workforce development or related social programs, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach staff

Qualifications

Demonstrated project leadership from inception through completion.
Experience in workforce development or related social services programs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams, funding agencies, community partners, and employers.
Proficiency in data analysis, performance tracking, and report preparation to support decision-making and program improvements.
Ability to manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and applicable regulations.
Proven people management skills, including staff supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and team building.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects, ensuring goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
Lead project teams and coordinate with partners and stakeholders.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
Manage risks and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
Represent SERCO of Texas in meetings and community engagements.
