Career Team is seeking a Project Director to oversee a single project, ensuring strategic execution and compliance with workforce development contracts. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and driving performance in a fast-paced environment.

This 100% onsite position in Snohomish County requires strong communication skills, proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace, and a track record in workforce development. Salary ranges from $85,500 to $89,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in operational leadership and management.
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team with strong communication and professionalism.
• Ability to lead in a dynamic team with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong emotional intelligence and confidentiality handling.
• Experience with WIOA and workforce development contracts/programs is desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary local contact and contract liaison funding source.
• Ensure contract compliance including policies, procedures, and program monitoring.
• Drive metrics and performance, coach front-line staff, and create service delivery plans.
• Coordinate planning and implementation of policies for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Lead high-functioning employees to execute program initiatives and support growth.
• Oversee daily programmatic operations and conduct coaching sessions.
• Perform annual performance evaluations and maintain a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Travel as needed within Snohomish County to support operations.
