Job summary

Career Team seeks a Project Director to oversee a single project, align it with strategic plans, and ensure strong performance across workforce development functions. The role requires expertise in program management, budgets, and stakeholder coordination.

The successful candidate will lead a team to meet contract requirements, drive service delivery, and maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality while working onsite in Snohomish County, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in operational leadership and management.
• 3+ years in a dynamic team environment with strong communication and professionalism.
• Ability to lead in a dynamic team environment with excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to lead diverse teams.
• Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
• Experience with workforce development programs (WIOA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a project’s strategic plan and daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and program monitoring.
• Coach and develop staff; drive performance metrics and service delivery plans.
• Plan and implement policies for continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
• Manage funding sources as primary local contact and contract liaison.
• Lead staff to execute program initiatives and monitor expenditures.
• Prepare for regular performance evaluations and opportunities for growth.
