Cengage Group is seeking a Director of Web Experience & Performance to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our global web ecosystem, driving customer engagement and growth. This remote leadership role reports to Marketing Operations and heads a worldwide web management and production team, focusing on performance, experimentation, and personalization.

Qualifications

10+ years leading web, digital experience, or marketing teams.
Record of large-scale web transformations in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of CMS, analytics, SEO, personalization, and experimentation.
Familiarity with accessibility, privacy, and digital governance.
Experience with AI-enabled optimization technologies.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise web strategy, platform roadmap, governance, and operating model.
Own web performance metrics and drive growth through optimization.
Lead an experimentation program across journeys, content, and conversion paths.
Partner with SEO/SEM, content, product, and analytics teams.
Build and mentor a global web operations team.
