Qualifications

• Senior Web Experience Design role with 3+ years of people management.
• Strong ecommerce, growth, conversion optimization, or other transactional digital experiences.
• Deep expertise in UX and UI, human-centered design, accessibility, responsive design, and information architecture.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• A portfolio is required.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision for Cengage’s web experience and UX/UI strategy.
• Lead experiments with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering; run A/B and multivariate tests.
• Advance ecommerce and conversion experiences.
• Design across the full customer journey: acquisition to engagement.
• Use data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements.
• Build a culture of continuous optimization and measurement.
• Stay ahead of evolving web practices, including AI-enabled experiences.
• Develop outstanding talent by coaching designers.
