Job summary

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, enabling consumers to buy now and pay later with clear terms. In this role you will lead a team of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) supporting our SMB merchants through integration, expansion, and scale.

You will coach a talented TAM team, partner with Client Success, Product and Operations, and help merchants achieve technical success post-sale by guiding integration strategies, troubleshooting, and optimization opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least five years in a b2b customer facing technical role and three years as a people manager.
• A strong technical background in web development technologies and REST APIs.
• A great relationship builder who can quickly build rapport with engineering customers.
• Excellent communicator, both internally for customers and externally for affirm.

Responsibilities

• Coach, mentor and develop an awesome group of TAMs who support our SMB merchants.
• Collaborate with Client Success to help merchants grow and maximize affirm’s product suite.
• Establish and track team OKRs and proactive action plans to meet goals.
• Forecast TAM demand and recruit as necessary.
• Evaluate new hires on their technical capabilities and guide them on integration solutions.
• Advocate for merchants across functions to ensure priorities are met.
