Job summary

Fastly seeks a Director of Product Marketing for Security, AI and Emerging Technology. This externally facing role leads a team of product marketers and shapes go-to-market strategy, messaging, and execution across security and AI domains.

You will partner with Analyst Relations, and work as a cross-functional evangelist with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing. The role reports to the VP of Product Marketing and drives narrative development, market positioning, and customer proof across

• Must have proven experience leading product marketing teams.
• Strong ability to develop GTM strategies and narratives.
• Experience partnering with analysts and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of product marketers across Security and AI/Emerging Tech.
• Guide go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches in security and AI.
• Develop Fastly’s security and AI narratives and messaging for target buyers.
• Partner with Analyst Relations to support AR programs and market positioning.
• Represent product lines in executive reviews and company-wide communications.
• Collaborate with Partner Marketing and Channel Sales on GTM efforts and enablement.
• Create sales training and assets with Sales Enablement.
• Apply competitive intelligence to differentiate security and AI products.
• Capture customer insights and proof points to reflect in messaging.
