Job summary

Turner Townsend is seeking a Head of Projects to lead and develop a team of Project Managers and oversee the delivery of project management services on major projects and programs.

The successful candidate will drive service excellence, client engagement, and growth of our project management offering, with responsibility for strategic planning, risk management, and performance. On-site presence may be required, and the role sits in Eastern or Central time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• 2+ years managing large high performing multi discipline teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of managing successful project management service delivery for clients.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team and ensure they deliver on all accountabilities.
• Oversee communications with the client and supervision of the project management team services.
• Lead market research and thought leadership on construction market conditions.
• Manage strategic and operational aspects of Project Management Services, including resource and financial management, business generation and development.
• Develop and implement KPIs, risk mitigation plans, and performance appraisals.
