Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Headof Projects to lead and develop a team of Project Managers and deliver PM services on major projects. This role ensures service excellence, growth of the PM offering, and strong client engagement across sectors.

The successful candidate will be a driven leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, sit in the Eastern or Central time zones, and drive a culture of learning, quality, and performance while guiding strategy and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• 2+ years managing large multi-discipline teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of managing successful PM service delivery for clients.
• Exceptional business development ambition and acumen.
• Experience in major construction sectors (real estate, data centers, life sciences, industrial).
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project management team to deliver client services.
• Oversee client communications and project management services.
• Research construction market conditions and publish insights.
• Produce thought leadership reports for the construction market.
• Manage strategic and operational PM services across multiple sectors.
• Set strategy and ambition aligned with the Business Plan.
• Develop people and promote a culture of learning and inclusivity.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and KPI-based reviews.
